Born in Montreal, he studied and graduated from the Instrumentation and Automation Technology Program at Vanier College, and holds a diploma in electrical construction. Currently, he works for Endress+Hauser and his role is Business Development Solution Sales for Eastern Canada.

He studied Byzantine Music from the age of 13 with the Archon Protopsaltis of Canada and Protonotarios of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, the late Konstantinos Lagouros. At the age of 19, he succeeded his teacher in his role at the church of the Annunciation of the Theotokos (Evangelismos) and stayed for 11 years. In the summer of 2018, for a second time, he succeeded his teacher upon his retirement as the first cantor at Saints Constantine and Helen, Dollard Des Ormeaux - West Island, and still holds this function.

In 2018, with the guidance of M. Lagouros, he received the cantor certificate (Πτυχίο Ιεροψάλτου) by the Archidiocese of Canada.

He participated in multiple Byzantine choirs and recitals under both the direction of Konstantinos Lagouros and Athanasios Paivanas.

He supported the coordination and logistics of two major events and seminars held by the School of Ecclesiastical Music of Montreal, “Patriarchal Octoechos –The Ways of Ecclesiastical Music of the Church of Constantinople”, held in 2019, and “Patriarchal Octoechos ’23 –Let Us Rise”, held in 2023.

Since 2016, he has been co-founder and coordinator at the School of Ecclesiastical Music of Montreal, under the auspices of the Holy Orthodox Metropolis of Toronto, now, Archdiocese of Canada, Ecumenical Patriarchate. He has successfully initiated and trained students in Byzantine ecclesiastical music at various levels.
